Dolly parton is set to return to Las Vegas for a residency at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace, her first in the city in 32 years. The shows are scheduled for December.
Parton expressed her excitement for the upcoming performances, stating, “I haven’t worked Vegas in years and I’ve always loved singing there. I’m looking so forward to the shows in The Colosseum at Caesars and I hope you are as well.See you there!”
The announcement follows a recent interaction between Parton and Kim Kardashian, who shared her admiration for the country music icon on Instagram. “Dolly, you are even more magical in person! (if thatS even possible),” Kardashian captioned a video of the two. “I still feel like I’m dreaming!”
Parton reflected on the power of storytelling and music in her own life, noting, “Everything begins with a story or a song.” She added,”I think that’s one of the reasons I love to write,because I feel like I’m so connected to god right then.”
