A Life in Motion
Ctibor Turbo, a celebrated actor, mime, choreographer, and director, died on Monday at the age of 80. He partnered with Boris Hybner to establish a new pantomime stream, building upon the groundwork of Ladislav Fialka and the classic Marceau pantomime style.
His contributions earned him multiple accolades, including a Ministry of Culture award for his work in pantomime and movement theater. The Alfred Theater in Dvůr, which he founded, announced his passing.

In the mid-1970s, Turbo began directing, writing, and lecturing. He taught at the Prague Ham and the theater faculty of Brno JAMU, where he established a clown and film production studio in 2004. He ran this until 2008.
