The cyclists began their journey from Nordkapp on June 25 at 07:30, finishing with 25 minutes to spare. The team had a carefully planned strategy.

A Grueling Challenge

The group faced the challenge of cycling from Nordkapp to Lindesnes. The cyclists, who set off on June 25, had a precise schedule. They cycled for five hours, then took a five-minute break, before returning to the road for another five hours.

“We cycle five hours, then a five minute break. Then another five hours on the bike before a short break, and then a new fifty session,”

Ove Fuglestveit, Cyclist

Ten cyclists started the challenge, however, some had to give up during the trip. Cycling such long distances is very tough; according to a 2024 study, ultra-endurance cyclists can burn upwards of 8,000 calories per day (Cycling Research 2024).
