The sentiment is echoed throughout the clubhouse. Star shortstop Carlos Correa has initiated conversations with coaching staff and front office personnel regarding potential improvements. Catcher Ryan Jeffers acknowledged areas for improvement across the board but remains optimistic, stating, “It’s still June. Still a long way to go.”
Adding to the hopeful outlook is the progress of Royce Lewis, who is recovering from a hamstring strain and appears close to a return. Lewis participated in full-go running, batting practice, and defensive drills on Monday, expressing a desire to rejoin the lineup as soon as Tuesday.
