“cape No. 7” when she was 13, has taken on a new challenge for the love drama “Fall in Love with Me Today.” The actress stars alongside Xing Pei Ziqi, Lin Huimin, and Wu Yirong. To prepare for the role, An Yiqiao was asked by the director to gain 10 kilograms (approximately 22 pounds).
Initially,An Yiqiao found the weight gain process challenging,admitting that she felt unpretentious and lost confidence,and became what she didn’t like.
However, she also realized that this transformation brought her on the contrary, closer to the mood of the character’s prototype.
Despite the difficulties, she acknowledged the unexpected benefits of the experience.
The Weight Gain Journey
An Yiqiao shared her meticulous approach to gaining weight, stating that she had been working hard to calculate the calories of each meal so that she can become fat in a short period of time.
