The penalties against Çalhanoğlu and Inzaghi stem from a meeting with representatives of the Inter Fans Group, Curva Nord, during the 2022-23 season. Zanetti’s penalty is related to administrative responsibility.

Çalhanoğlu’s Description

Çalhanoğlu admitted to meeting with the supporters’ representatives in October 2024.His reason? To express gratitude for a banner displayed in support of him following the devastating earthquake on Feb. 6, 2023. He stated that the meeting was to thank the banner opened to support him after the earthquake in February 6, 2023.

Inter is scheduled to host Hellas Verona on May 3. Due to the penalties, both Çalhanoğlu and Inzaghi will be absent from the field.
