The Incident
Greece Police responded to a burglary alarm at the Kwik Fill gas station early monday morning.
Upon arrival, officers discovered a shattered front glass door and merchandise scattered across the floor.
The incident occurred around 2 a.m.
The Investigation
Greece Police quickly identified the suspect’s vehicle and license plate number.
The Monroe County Sheriff’s Office initially stopped the vehicle on Chili Avenue, just before the burglary occurred.
Irondequoit Police later located and stopped the same vehicle.
The Arrest
Juan Merced, 47, of irondequoit, was arrested.
According to Greece Police, Irondequoit Police made the arrest.
