Prince Abdul Mateen of Brunei Marries Commoner Anisha Rosnaha in Lavish Wedding Ceremony

Bandar Seri Begawan: Prince Ahdul Mateen of Brunei, one of the richest countries in the world, marries a commoner woman outside the royal family. The 32-year-old prince is married to 29-year-old Yang Mulia Anisha Rosnaha.

Both are getting married on Thursday. The wedding will take place according to Muslim rituals at the gold-domed mosque in the capital, Bandar Seri Begawan. As part of the wedding, a ten-day long celebration has been arranged.

Mateen is the tenth son of Sultan Hassanal Bolkiah of Brunei, the world’s longest-reigning emperor and one of the world’s richest men. He is also a big star on social media.

Mateen’s bride Young Mulia Anisha, the granddaughter of one of the Sultan’s top advisors, owns a fashion brand and a tourism business. It is reported that many international rulers and political leaders will be guests at the wedding.

One of the richest countries in the world, Brunei has a population of about 450,000. It is a complete monarchy and strict Islamic laws prevail here.
