The Government of Aragón, through the Aragón Emprende Foundation and with the collaboration of the Calatayud City Council, has organized a day to give visibility to women who work and undertake in rural areas and in areas related to technology, research and innovation.
It will be this Thursday the 23rd in the Assembly Hall of the Calatayud City Council from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. in a format of talks, dialogues, debates and experience tables. It is an activity open to the general public for which it is advisable to register and it can also be followed through streaming and CLICKING HERE
The purpose of this meeting is to promote women’s leadership and show local references that generate greater interest in traditionally masculinized professions. It is a way to support rural female entrepreneurship and support driving initiatives in Calatayud.
Program and speakers
The day will be inaugurated by the mayor of Calatayud, José Manuel Aranda, and by a representative of the Aragón Emprende Foundation. Next, Irene Luzán from Huesca, creator of Shu Digital, will open the time of the protagonists with her inspiring presentation. Luzán is dedicated to theming and scenography mainly for cinema and advertising anywhere in the world, with its 3D technology, digitization, and scanning services.
Matilde de la Rivas, from Levprot Bioscience, and Pilar Caballero, from TAC Logística, dedicated to biotechnology and transportation, will talk about the technological forefront and good business practices. Beatriz Calvo, general director of Inycom, a company dedicated to consulting and advice, the design, development and implementation of technological solutions for all types of sectors, will refer to female leadership in the current technological revolution.
The young man from Teruel, Cristian García Cebollada, creator of Smart Moss, a biotechnology company that has created an air purifier with natural materials, will talk about the ideas that transform and become a business. Also Pilar Casalé and Laura Lacruz, founders of Flyconcept, a food company for dogs, cats and family animals, and Victoria Arévalo Embid, entrepreneur and director of a marketing, social media, international promotion, sales and business strategy consulting firm.
This forum will also feature the participation of Esperanza Sánchez Molina, a journalist and passionate about the reality of the rural world with whom conclusions will be drawn from everything that is shared that morning.

The Aragón Emprende Foundation with the EREA program seeks to contribute to the economic and social development of vulnerable areas due to circumstances such as low population density and support the entrepreneurial and innovative ecosystem.
