The profits of Orascom Construction increased in the first half of this year by 191%, compared to the same period last year, to reach $99 million.
Revenues during the same period were $1.6 billion, an increase of 18%.
While the value of projects under implementation reached $5.5 billion.
The company attributed the profit growth to the sale of two subsidiaries in the production and processing of building materials at a value of EGP 2.2 billion, equivalent to about $71 million.
