Panda Express, the American Chinese dining restaurant chain, has opened its first restaurant outside Metro Manila, in Tanza, Cavite. Known for their Original Orange Chicken, Panda Express is partnering with Jollibee Foods Corp to bring the brand to the Philippines. Doug Stalgren, VP of Panda Express’ International Business Development, expressed his excitement for the opening, saying it was a convenient way for guests to experience the company’s famous dishes. The new Tanza restaurant will also offer meat-free options, such as honey walnut shrimp, kung pao fish, and eggplant tofu, for those celebrating Lent. Panda Express is also planning to open its first drive-thru restaurant in Pacita, San Pedro Laguna, in April.
