1. Viral after being photographed by a friend

Apit claims to be a friend of the security guard, and is close to him because he often has needs at work.
Even so, Apit, who works as an ambulance driver, said he was asked by the security guard not to reveal his identity and where he worked.
2. 90 percent of the salary for families in the village
On the Abdul Kalam Fan Club Facebook group, it is said that the security guard is setting aside 90 percent of his salary for the family.
However, when contacted Kompas.comApit admitted that he was asked by the security guard not to reveal anything about his family back in the village because he was embarrassed.
On Facebook, Apit also wrote that his friend loved his family in the village, so he only spent less than 100 ringgit (Rp 350,000) on food a month.
Apit also said, sometimes he bought the security guard food if there was excess sustenance.

4. It’s a daily habit
To Kompas.com, Apit told the story of a security guard that attracted the pity of many people.
“That is his daily food, there is a time (time) we buy him food, after the viral he does not eat in the open anymore,” explained Apit when contacted by Kompas.com via short message, Monday (15/3/2021).
5. Not a difficult person, just thrifty
Even though it looks sad, said Apit, the security guard is not a difficult person. He only thrives, and eating raw onion rice has become a daily habit of the Nepalis who work there.
“He’s actually capable, he’s the one who chose to live so all day,” he explained.

Apit continued, the Nepalese security guard was embarrassed after finding out that his photo was viral.
“I just asked him to take a picture of what he ate and want to share (share) with his FB (Facebook) friends only, but it went viral until his work friends knew, so he was embarrassed,” said Apit.
7. Reluctant to accept assistance and do not want to be identified
There were some people who offered help to the security guard, but Apit said his colleague always refused, except for a gift from him.
“He will not accept donations, he is not a difficult person, only he is thrifty.”
“He did not ask for goods, but if the gift from me was in the form of goods or food he accepted. If he knew other people’s donations he would not accept,” Apit concluded.
