Treasures around the world are buried in hidden locations, stolen, or lost. Many hunters have tried to find its whereabouts, but have not found the treasure.

Most of the treasure was gold and high-value jewellery, such as the Nazi gold in Lake Toplitz. In addition, there is also Paititi, a gold-plated city that is said to have sunk. Here are six legendary treasures in the world that have yet to be found:

1. The Treasure of Ahmad Shah

The treasure owned by Ahmad Shah is alleged to have the curse of Koh-i-Noor which caused Ahmad Shah’s death. This curse is removed from the gems that are in the treasure.

Ahmad Shah’s treasure was actually stolen from Nadir Shah of Persia who also stole the treasures of the Mughal empire. However, Nadir was killed by Ahmad Shah’s bodyguards and gave his property to Ahmad Shah. If cashed in, Ahmad Shah’s assets are worth approximately US$250 billion.

2. Emas Leon Trabuco

Leon Trabuco is a billionaire from Mexico who has a business partner hiding gold. This hidden gold will be taken and sold when the price rises.

In the early 1930s, Leon Trabuco arranged several mysterious flights into the deserts of New Mexico to hide gold. Trabuco and its partners were unlucky because in 1934, the United States implemented the gold law of 1934 which made private ownership of gold illegal.
