[Reporter Wu Liangyi/Taipei Report]In addition to the 4 new local cases of Wuhan pneumonia (new coronavirus disease, COVID-19) today, there are also 6 imported cases from Indonesia, the Czech Republic and Brazil.
Case 901 is a 40-year-old male of nationality. He went to Indonesia in July last year and returned to China on January 21 this year. He held a negative test report within 3 days before the flight. After entering the country, he went to his residence for home quarantine. Cases began to appear on January 22 Fever, cough, sore throat and other symptoms were reported by the health unit after the initiative was notified on January 27, and the diagnosis was confirmed today. A total of 17 contacts have been identified, of which 5 are listed in home isolation and 12 are listed in independent health management.

Case 902 is a female in her 20s. She went to school in the Czech Republic in September last year. She had contact with a confirmed case and was diagnosed on January 4 this year. After that, she had two negative test reports on January 15 and 22, respectively. Return to Taiwan on the 25th. The case had symptoms of abnormal smell when entering the country on January 27, and was transferred to the centralized quarantine station after being tested negative at the airport. On January 29, the case was tested positive for the second time and confirmed; investigation of contacts on the same flight is under investigation.
Cases 903 to 906 are all nationalities, including two girls under 10 years old, men in their 40s, and women in their 30s. They are families living in Brazil for a long time. They returned to Taiwan with their families on January 20th. The negative report shall be tested within 3 days before the flight, and the home quarantine shall be conducted after entry.
Case 905 developed fever and sore throat on January 24, case 903, case 904, and case 906 developed symptoms successively on January 27. After the notification, the positive test was confirmed and it was a family gathering from abroad; Contacts on the same flight are investigated.
