Apple has shown prior interest in 6G technology by joining a 6G industry group called the Alliance for Telecommunications Industry Solutions (ATIS).
CUPERTINO – Attendance 5G network currently still under development. One step ahead, Apple reportedly will start construction of the 6G network.
This is indicated by Apple which is currently looking for many engineers to develop the network nirkabel 6G to iPhone in the future.

According to the report Bloomberg, Apple is looking for engineers for jobs in Silicon Valley and San Diego to develop 6G.
“You will have a unique and beneficial opportunity to create the next generation of wireless technology that will have a major impact on Apple products in the future,” said Apple in the job announcement, quoted by Apple Insider, Saturday (20/2).

Apple is also developing its own 5G modem to reduce its reliance on Qualcomm, so it’s no surprise that Apple is getting ready from now on to start developing its own 6G.

Apple launched 5G with its iPhone 12 lineup with support for the sub-6GHz band worldwide and mmWave only in the US.
It’s not known exactly when Apple’s internal modem will be ready, but the next Phone is the closest plan. Apple is likely to continue to expand 5G support for more bands around the world as the technology matures.
