According to the social authority, 58 new corona cases were registered in Hamburg on Thursday. That is 20 new infections less than a week ago and three cases less than on Wednesday.
According to the social authority, a total of 76,796 people in the Hanseatic city have tested positive for the corona virus since the beginning of the pandemic. According to estimates by the Robert Koch Institute (RKI), around 73,900 people in Hamburg can now be considered recovered.
Incidence value at 17.4
The number of new infections per 100,000 inhabitants in the past seven days has fallen slightly to 17.4 within one day. On Wednesday the incidence value was 18.4, a week ago it was 23.7.
32 patients in intensive care units
According to the social authorities, 61 corona patients are being treated in Hamburg’s hospitals, 32 of whom are being cared for in intensive care units. According to the RKI, 1,578 people have died in connection with Covid 19 in the Hanseatic city since the beginning of the pandemic. There has been no further death since Tuesday.
