The first thing that strikes about this Zephyrus G14 is its design. ASUS has created a very nice product with a smoothness that may not rival ultrabooks like MacBooks, but clearly does better than many others. laptops gaming.
It incorporates a fairly standard 14-inch IPS panel with beautiful colors, good contrast and Full HD definition. Its strong point is its refresh rate of 120 Hz. The PC promises excellent fluidity of display in your games and the comfort is greatly increased compared to a 60 Hz panel.
But to run greedy games, you need a good technical sheet and this Zephyrus has one. Powered by the excellent AMD Ryzen 7 4800HS processor coupled with an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060, your games will have no problem running with very good graphics performance. Add to that the 16 GB of RAM and 1 TB of internal SSD storage and you shouldn’t have too many issues with load times.
Its autonomy is unfortunately not a strength. Like all gaming laptops, the greedy components melt the battery like snow in the sun and the PC will not exceed 6 hours away from the charger for simple web browsing. We can console ourselves with the 180 W charger and the 65 W USB-C alternative to avoid carrying too many cables on the move.
