Online voting event from June 14th
Vienna (OTS) – It all started on November 29, 1970 with the “Taxi to Leipzig”. 50 years and more than 1,100 cases later, the “crime scene” celebrates its 50th anniversary as one of the most watched crime series on German-language television. And of course that can be celebrated with the favorite cases of the viewers, who have made the “crime scene” a cult crime thriller for decades. From Sunday, June 14, 2020, fans and everyone who wants to become one will have the opportunity to do their own “crime scene” program on eleven Sundays from June 21 to August 30 (8:15 p.m., ORF 2) per week to determine. You can choose from 50 particularly successful and popular films from the past 20 years with 30 teams of investigators from Germany, Austria and Switzerland.
The “crime scene” hit list
The hit list of the 50 optional episodes for the voting event revives cult cases, legends go back in search of traces and the latest cases are reviewed. And because the successful Austrian duo Harald Krassnitzer and Adele Neuhauser also ensure top ratings for the German-speaking audience, two ORF success “crime scenes” must not be missing in the voting: Sabine Derflinger’s Grimme Prize-winning case “Angezähl” and Christopher Schiers thriller “Die Faust”, which even achieved an all-time high in Germany when it was first broadcast in 2018.
