1. Replace breakfast with coffee

According to nutritionist and CEO of the NY Nutrition Group, Lisa Moskovitz, skipping breakfast can lead to a less nutritious diet, as it goes against the needs of healthier aging.

Instead of skipping breakfast and drinking coffee straight away, Moskovitz suggests eating healthy foods for breakfast. For example, fresh fruit, whole grains, and nuts are packed with fiber and antioxidants.

2. Drink coffee that is too sweet

If we don’t want to drink black coffee and prefer to add cream or sweeteners, then this preference can affect our health. It depends on how much sugar/cream we add.

“A moderate amount of sugar in coffee isn’t a problem, but always adding it can create a buildup of sugar in the body over time,” Moskovitz says.

In particular, as we age, we can see how drinking coffee that is too sweet can increase blood sugar, inflammation, and many other adverse health conditions.
