In 2014, Ruja created a cryptocurrency called OneCoin to rival Bitcoin. Ruja Ignatova said OneCoin will be the world’s largest cryptocurrency for everyone to make transactions anywhere.

Many are interested and invest through OneCoin. Britons spent around 30 million euros in the first six months of 2016. From August 2014 to March 2017, more than 4 billion euros were invested in dozens of countries, from Pakistan, Brazil, Hong Kong, Norway, Canada, Yemen and even Palestine.

Dr. Ruja is diligent in promoting his digital currency. From Macau, Dubai, to Singapore, the meeting places are packed with new investors. He is good at convincing people.

He also started buying multimillion-dollar properties in the Bulgarian capital Sofia and Sozopol, resorts on the Black Sea. Ruja Ignatova also reportedly had a party on the luxury ship The Davina by inviting American pop stars.
