Five people have died of coronavirus in hospitals in Hauts-de-France in the past 24 hours, according to data released Monday evening by Public Health France.
A total of 1,738 patients have died from Covid-19 in hospitals in the region since the start of the epidemic, including 286 in Pas-de-Calais and 578 in the North.
The number of patients currently hospitalized in Hauts-de-France has increased slightly within 24 hours. 1,419 people carrying the coronavirus are treated, five more patients than the day before.
In intensive care, the number of patients suffering from coronavirus stabilizes. Public health France counts 122 this Monday, against 125 Saturday and 123 Sunday.
