Liputan6.com, Jakarta Gynecologist Anna Henderson detailed five changes in the vagina that women may experience as reported Daily Star:
1. Bakterial vaginosis (BV)
According to Sport England, 62 percent of Britons believe during a pandemic they should be more active than before. But exercising by wearing leggings can upset the balance of the vagina.
“Sweating and exercising alone, are not dangerous, also do not cause BV. However, the habits women do as a result of this, can make them more vulnerable to BV,” Henderson said
According to him, if women feel more frequent sweating, they should bathe more often and use soap
Due to the use of underpants and long pants that are located close to the genitals, this can disturb the pH balance in the vaginal area which can contribute to the development of BV.
