Out of 946 tests carried out, 42 came back positive for the coronavirus, i.e. a positivity rate of 4.42%. These are 36 contact cases followed and 6 cases resulting from community transmission distributed as follows: Almadies (1), Guédiawaye (1), Maristes (1), Kolda (1), Mbacké (1) and Ziguinchor (1) .
63 patients tested negative and declared cured.
37 serious cases are taken care of in the intensive care units.
2 new deaths linked to Covid-19, recorded.
To date, Senegal has 10,386 positive cases including 6,901 cured, 211 deaths and 3,273 still under treatment.
