Sub-Saharan Africa Expects the Worst

The death toll from malaria in sub-Saharan Africa could approach 770,000 this year, or “twice as much as in 2018”, noted the WHO, as was held on Saturday, the International Day against this disease which, unlike Covid, particularly strikes children.
