Looking to 2023 and beyond, The Lux Collective will reveal four groundbreaking designs for its iconic luxury brand, LUX*. Travelers seeking rich cultural heritage and authentic landscapes will explore the Sharjah Desert within two hotels, LUX* Al Jabal and LUX* Al Bridi, which will open later. Lovers of a new island lifestyle will discover the rugged jungle coasts of LUXNAM* Phu Quoc in Vietnam. LUX* Marseillan, in the south of France, will offer a food and wine escape by the sea with panoramic views of the Mediterranean.

Majestic muskets, souks and art galleries have earned the centuries old city of Sharjah to be designated by UNESCO as “ Art and design purists will delight in the city’s rich traditions, creative scene and historical centre, while nature lovers can trek the Al Rabi trail and scale mountain peaks.
Slated for release in early 2024, Lux* al Jabal is a 45-key property atop Khorfakkan and Luluya beaches, overlooking the vast Gulf of Oman and its rugged mountains. Located in a crescent-shaped bay and sheltered from the winds, Khorfakkan beach attracts divers and swimmers with its sandy shores and corals. Set on 18.7 hectares of land near the sea, the boutique hotel will blend with nature by taking inspiration from the natural environment and incorporating typical motifs into its architecture. Its sophisticated menus will highlight high-quality local ingredients and include healthy vegan cuisine from LUX* Keen On Green.
It will include one-bedroom havens for singles and couples, three-bedroom suites for group travellers, and a royal suite with private pool and butler service. Guests will have exclusive access to the private beach, world-class dining options, a LUX* Me spa and wellness treatments, children’s activities and unique experiences to connect with the local culture and community.
The LUX* Al Bridi Hotel is due to open in 2024. It overlooks 1,690 hectares of wildlife conservation in Al Dhaid City’s Sharjah Safari Project, the world’s largest safari outside of Africa. Home to more than 50,000 animals, including native mountain gazelles, the park has a natural lake and will offer a variety of dining options and a safari camp manned by expert guides.
LUX* Al Bridi will include 35 luxury lodge-style tents, a LUX* Me spa and a discovery center to participate in initiatives focused on environmental conservation in collaboration with environmental and protected area authorities. Children can learn about farm animals through interactive activities at Al Dhaid Farm, the city’s first educational zoo. Traditional cooking techniques and the freshest ingredients will bring a new dimension to dining in the wild, while adventures take the form of dune surfing, 4×4 excursions and eye gazing under Arabian skies.
LUXNAM* Phu Quoc, which will open its doors at the end of 2024, is the first in this part of Asia. This is a beachfront hotel on Phu Quoc Island off the coast of Vietnam surrounded by jungle. This 126-villa resort will consist of two parts connected by an elegant 2-kilometer-long pier overlooking a tranquil lagoon. LUXNAM* Phu Quoc, a modern Maldivian-style resort, will rise on stilts above the waters and coral reefs of the Kien Giang Biosphere Reserve and will be inspired by Vietnamese traditions reinvented with a minimalist touch.
In addition to its constructions in harmony with nature and biodiversity, the group’s sustainability DNA is carefully integrated throughout the dragon-shaped resort. It offers guests a choice of 109 overwater villas (most with private pools), 13 beachfront pool villas, two penthouses and two beachfront pool villas. It will also include restaurants offering world-class innovative cuisine, a spa, fitness center, four swimming pools and a children’s play area. Europe – Art of living at LUX* Marseillan, France
In 2024, the Lux Collective will also look towards Europe with the long-awaited opening of Lux* Marseillan, France. Located between the Pyrenees and Provence, bordering the Thau salt pond and the Mediterranean Sea, is the vineyard where the property will be built. Inspired by the traditional architecture of quaint farmhouses in the south of France, it will reveal itself with a contemporary twist. Embodying the French way of life, Lux* Marseillan will combine sea, sun, spa and wine. More details will be revealed in due course.
