30 Goals in 13 consecutive seasons, Messi a Person or an Alien?

Sevilla

Lionel Messi looks like no ordinary human. Because Messi for the 13th time in a row was able to score more than 30 goals a season. Crazy!

Messi is a mainstay Barcelona when playing the party Copa del Rey final against Athletic Bilbao at the Estadio de La Cartuja, Sevilla, Spain, Sunday (18/4/2021) early morning WIB. The match was tight from the first minute and both teams were determined to score a goal.

After being balanced goalless for an hour, the deadlock finally broke in the 60th minute when Antoine Griezmann broke through Unai Simon’s net which was followed by Frenkie De Jong’s goal three minutes later.

Messi then stepped into action in the 68th minute. Dribbling on the right side, Messi first passed two players before making 1-2 passes with De Jong in front of the penalty box.

Once into the opposing area, Messi still managed to outwit two players before shooting at the post. Messi then solidified Barcelona’s 4-0 victory in the 72nd minute by cheating on Jordi Alba’s bait.

Barcelona managed to celebrate the 31st Copa del Rey title while Messi won his seventh trophy in the competition. Previously, Messi brought Barca triumph in 2009, 2011, 2015, 2016, 2017 and 2018.

Two goals in the final made Messi’s status as the champion of the final, as he was able to make 31 goals and 13 assists from 30 appearances. Messi has also collected 31 goals in all competitions this season.

Quoted by Squawka, Messi has always scored at least 30 goals or more for 13 consecutive seasons and has matched his tally of goals last season. So Barcelona certainly hopes that Messi’s luck can lead them to win LaLiga.

Lionel Messi indeed not a person!
