Jakarta (ANTARA) – The recent poor air quality index has made people wary of doing activities outside the home.
To protect themselves from exposure to pollution, people are advised to wear masks when doing outdoor activities. Apart from using a mask, it is important to maintain physical fitness before doing outdoor activities and adopt a healthy lifestyle at home, such as getting enough rest and exercising regularly.

1. Check the air quality
The Galaxy Watch6 smart watch supports an air quality index measurement application so that users can monitor it directly before deciding to leave the house, for example to work.
If you decide to stay at home, you can use a watch to ensure you get enough rest. Use the Sleep Monitoring feature to monitor sleep quality analysis. From the results of this analysis, users can find out what they need to do to get quality sleep.
2. Stay active
If you are worried about exercising outside the home due to air pollution, someone can do it at home. Exercise is important to maintain immunity and body fitness.
Smart watches have features to monitor up to dozens of types of exercise, from yoga, Pilates to aerobics. With the choice of sports feature, users can try various types of sports so they don’t get bored.
Smart watches help users track, among other things, calories burned when exercising. That way, users can design exercise routines that suit their body’s abilities.
The Galaxy Watch6 series, for example, has an Irregular Heart Rhythm Notification feature which is supported by an electrocardiogram (EKG) function to check heart rhythm, both during activity and sleep.
There is also a Body Composition feature to track body weight, muscle mass, fat content, water content and body mass index (BMI) to maintain a healthy lifestyle.
