Kochi: A Taurus truck hit 3 two-wheelers on the national highway in Cheranallur, killing 2 people. The deceased were identified as Naseeb (38), son of Paravur Mannam Kuryaparampil Shamsu, an employee of Flux Printing Company, and Lisa Antony (38), wife of Antony, wife of Panaiikulam Chirayam Arakkal, a nurse at Ernakulam Amrita hospital .
Both were on their way to work. Badly injured Ravindran is being treated. The incident happened around 10am in front of a new petrol pump in Cheranallur. When a bicycle stopped to turn towards the pump, the 2 two wheels that followed it also stopped
The accident was caused by the Taurus truck which was immediately behind and proceeded carelessly, hitting all three vehicles. The video has been released. Police arrested the driver who caused the accident. Lisa’s children: Shreya Rose and Isra Maria. Najiya is Naseeb’s wife.
