But what happens when ⁢pushing your ⁤system to its theoretical limits actually decreases stability? that’s​ precisely what happened to me, and it highlights a crucial nuance in building a high-performance‍ PC.

I ⁣recently ‍learned‌ this lesson the hard way while upgrading from a Ryzen 9 5900X to the highly-regarded Ryzen 7 5800X3D. For years, my system ran flawlessly with 64GB ⁢of DDR4 memory clocked at its advertised speed of 3600MHz. ⁤I opted ‍for four 16GB sticks to future-proof my build, anticipating the demands of gaming, ⁤streaming, ⁣and multitasking. Thankfully, my motherboard handled the quad-channel configuration without issue.
