Dr. Hisham Shawqi Masoud, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Eastern Province, announced that 3 health units in the governorate have received the Medal of Accreditation and Quality from the Ministry of Health and Population, after ensuring that the standard standards are applied in family planning clinics in those units, and that they have obtained a quarterly evaluation of more than 95% twice. Two consecutively, through the population and family planning sector at the Ministry of Health, within the framework of the Ministry and the Directorate’s plan to raise the efficiency of health services provided to citizens in Sharkia Governorate.
The Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in Al-Sharqiya stated that these units are “the Umm Ramad unit of the Health Department in Al-Qanayat, the Mahmoudiya unit of the Health Department in Bahia, and the Medical Center in the tenth district of the Health Department in the tenth of Ramadan,” pointing out that the medal logo was hung on these health units.
He pointed out that this comes within the quality and accreditation program of the Egyptian Ministry of Health, to ensure the application of standard standards for services in medical centers and health units at the level of the Republic, and the Ministry financially motivates medical teams and workers in units that receive the Medal of Accreditation and Quality.
The Undersecretary thanked the Minister of Health, the family planning sector in the ministry, the director of the family planning department in the directorate, the directors of health departments in the channels, and the tenth of Ramadan, and the family planning teams, for the efforts made to improve health services provided to citizens in the governorate.
