3 Covid-19 patients died in Latvia; 115 new cases detected / Article / LSM.lv

115 new cases of Covid-19 were discovered in Latvia last day, 3 people died, according to the information of the Center for Disease Prevention and Control (SPKC).

In the last 24 hours, 4171 Covid-19 examinations were performed, 115 new infections were registered. The proportion of positive cases against the tested ones reached 2.8%.

Last day, Covid-19 robbed three more people of the 65-85 age group.

A total of 3609 persons became ill in Latvia, 1341 recovered.

By Tuesday morning, another 11 patients with Covid-19 had been hospitalized. A total of 83 patients are treated in hospitals – 79 with a moderate course of the disease, 4 with a severe course of the disease.

A total of 290 patients were discharged from the hospital.

CONTEXT:

In Latvia on June 10 ended Emergency to declare the new coronavir announced on 12 March. The virus is still circulating and there is no medicine or vaccine for it. Certain restrictions still apply to reduce the spread of Covid-19.
