The Ministry of Health reported this Friday that 2,750 new cases of COVID-19 were registered in the last 24 hours.
With this, the total was located at 3 million 930 thousand 015 confirmed cases of the disease. The first infection with the SARS-CoV-2 virus was registered on February 28, 2020.
On the other hand, the death toll rose to 297 thousand 567 after in the last hours, the agency confirmed that 211 perished from COVID-19.
To that figure can be added 13 thousand 551 suspected deaths of COVID-19 that include those pending by laboratory and those that are in the process of association-clinical judgment.
The Ministry of Health added that, as of this Friday, there are 17,257 active cases of COVID-19. These correspond to people who have shown symptoms of the disease during the last 14 days and, therefore, are contagious.
