The number of people infected with COVID in the last 24 hours in the country is 2299, 127 less than yesterday. In the last 24 hours, 103 Bulgarians have lost the battle with the virus, and 3546 people have been cured, according to data from the Unified Information Portal at 00:00 on December 8.
For the last 24 hours, a total of 27,694 tests were performed – 7,310 less than the previous day. 4984 samples were tested by PCR, and another 22 710 were tested by antigen test. The total number of tested so far is 6 767 295.

650 people were admitted to the hospital for the last 24 hours, of which 558 were unvaccinated and 92 were vaccinated.
