In response to the coronavirus pandemic, 21 international film festivals will present a free online film festival on YouTube tomorrow. For ten days, the virtual festival We Are One offers feature films, short and documentary films, music and virtual round tables. We Are One goes back to the initiative of the Tribeca Film Festival; the Berlinale and the Cannes, Venice and Toronto Festival are among the participants.
Internet users can watch the program on YouTube and also donate there. Part of the proceeds will go to the World Health Organization (WHO) and charities to help fight CoV. The coronavirus pandemic has paralyzed cultural events around the world; Cinemas were closed and the festival in Cannes had to be canceled. The online festival wants to close this gap a little.
