208 new cases of Covid-19 have been confirmed in Estonia; In Lithuania – 639, seven people have died / Article / LSM.lv

208 new cases of Covid-19 were confirmed in Estonia last day. In Lithuania, the disease was discovered in another 639 people and seven people died, Lithuanian and Estonian social media portals report.

Estonian social media portal “ERR.ee” reports that a total of 2,600 Covid-19 tests were performed in Estonia last day, according to data from the Estonian Department of Health.

The 14-day cumulative number of infections per 100,000 population in Estonia has increased to 87.44. The day before this the rate was 75.10.

On the morning of Wednesday, November 4, 44 Covid-19 patients were treated in hospitals in Estonia. Two need artificial respiration, four are in the intensive care unit.

A total of 269,000 Covid-19 tests have been performed in Estonia since the beginning of the pandemic, of which 5,333 or 2% were positive. So far, 73 people have died in Estonia with Covid-19, reports “ERR.ee”.

In Lithuania, a total of 12,059 Covid-19 tests were performed during the day, of which 639 were positive. Seven more people with Covid-19 have died in Lithuania.

The three youngest victims were at the age of 50. All seven victims had a history of chronic health problems, reports “LRT.lt”, referring to data from the National Health Center.

Since the beginning of the pandemic, a total of 18,092 people have contracted Covid-19 in Lithuania. In Lithuania, 12,765 people currently suffer from Covid-19, but 5,082 have recovered. So far, 182 people have died in Lithuania with Covid-19.

In Lithuania, according to the Ministry of Health, there are currently 679 inpatients, 57 of whom are in the intensive care unit.
