Four teams will advance through Round 1 to join Gen.G and Hanwha life Esports, who earned direct entry into Round 2 based on their performance in the legend Group.
T1, finishing third in the Legend Group, opted to challenge DRX as their opening opponent, reportedly to avoid BNK FEARX’s aggressive playstyle. BNK FEARX will rather face kt Rolster. The stakes are high as teams battle not only for championship contention but also for coveted spots at the World Championship.T1 holds a important historical advantage over DRX, boasting a 17-3 record against them over the past two years and having won both regular season encounters in 2025. On Thursday, BNK FEARX will aim to continue their resurgence against kt rolster. Despite previous losses – both in the regular season and a close five-game series in the LCK Cup – BNK has demonstrated notable drafts and execution during the Play-In stage. Their success will likely hinge on strong coordination between their upper jungle and mid lane to counter kt Rolster’s veteran mid laner, Kwak “BDD” Bo-seong.
