Minnesota College Athletic Conference Announces 2025 All-MCAC and All-Region Baseball Teams
Rochester, MN – The Minnesota College Athletic Conference (MCAC) and NJCAA Region 13 have unveiled the All-MCAC and Division III All-Region baseball teams for the 2025 season, recognizing outstanding achievements on the diamond.
Selection process and Team Composition
Coaches from the MCAC and Region 13 meticulously selected the teams, comprising 39 All-MCAC members and 42 All-Region honorees. The selection process hinged on player performances throughout the 2025 season.All athletes named to the All-MCAC Team automatically secured a spot on the All-Region 13 Team. To complete the All-Region 13 roster, three additional athletes from North Dakota State College of Science (NDSCS) were included.
Region 13 Player of the Year: Seth Nelson
Seth Nelson, an infielder from Century College, has been named the Region 13 Player of the Year. This marks the third consecutive year that a Century College baseball player has received this prestigious award.
Nelson’s stellar performance during the season included a .387 batting average, 15 home runs, 64 runs batted in (RBIs), and 72 runs scored. He also showcased his speed with 10 stolen bases, complemented by a .735 slugging percentage and a .498 on-base percentage. His fielding prowess was equally impressive,boasting a .980 fielding percentage with 127 putouts and 73 assists in 204 total chances.
