Pochettino hopes to find Kane replacement from the inside

Tottenham coach Mauricio Pochettino said it was impossible to win a striker for Harry Kane this month. The club is working to create another superstar of his academy.

Pochettino is under pressure to sign a replacement for Kane, who is expected to miss the end of February after suffering ankle ankle over Manchester United last weekend.

After Lucas Moura and Moussa Sissoko were also injured, Eric Dier was still working out in the gym and the South Korean Heung-min Son at the Asian Cup. Pochettino has missed out on Sunday's Fulham Sunday game - the first of five games in 14 -.

The Argentine, however, said he had a number of options in advance, including 16-year-old Troy Parrott (below) and 20-year-old Kazaiah Sterling, who skipped the U-23 on Friday to join the first team train squad.

"Yesterday I saw Barcelona['s 3-0 win over Levante] and her striker was Leo Messi, "said Pochettino.

"We can play Fernando Llorente, we can play Dele Alli, you can play Erik Lamela, you can play Sterling, Parrott, I do not know, we can play a lot of players, it's not like you have to play with a certain striker. Chelsea played against us [Eden] Danger as a striker, though [Oliver] Giroud was on the bench and [Alvaro] Morata was not in the squad. We are so crazy, the managers, that sometimes we decide to do something else, right?

"I do not see it as a game of chance [not to sign a forward], I think in the end, if we do not sign players or sign a striker for another transfer window, it will not be gambling, it will not be a risk.

"I think we have players who can handle this place unless it's Harry Kane, so if we want to find a player who's like Harry Kane, I think we're going to make a mistake because it's impossible finding another Harry Kane for being one of the best three, four or five best strikers in the world, we have the opportunity to create our new star through the academy, and of course, our goal is to create the new Tottenham star To find him here in our academy would be the most exciting. "

To prove his team's adaptability, Pochettino said the Spurs had already found a way to play without Mousa Dembele, who ended his six-and-a-half-year collaboration with the club on Thursday and joined the Chinese Guangzhou R & F.

"When Moussa is in the middle of the field, what happens to his teammates? They relax and give Moussa the ball. It's like being relaxed and talking to somebody and Jesus comes in. I lose focus and have Jesus asking what he said, that's a bit similar, it's like giving Moussa the ball and he'll solve the problem.

"And as always we have to give the team a different ability to win the ball and build from the back and have another option, but the moment he's out of the team, you start adding different qualities, maybe With Sissoko I have more capacity to add more transitions to the team, to have that powerful drive when he drives the ball, they have different qualities and need to mingle with the team and be consistent and try to find another way.
