The pound rose against the pound last week, while the euro and dinar depreciated against the local currency, according to the National Bank of Egypt.
While the local currency stabilized against the Saudi riyals, the UAE dirham and the Qatari riyal during the last bulls trading.
The pound rose against the local currency, recording yesterday, 22.31 pounds for purchase and 23.10 pounds for sale, compared to 22.64 pounds for purchase and 22.90 pounds for sale.
The price of the euro fell against the pound last week, where it recorded last Thursday 20.23 pounds to buy and 20.41 pounds for sale, compared to 20.49 pounds to buy and 20.70 pounds for sale.
The Kuwaiti Dinar fell against the pound, recording yesterday 58.66 pounds for purchase and 59.04 pounds for sale, compared to 58.70 pounds for purchase, and 59.10 pounds for sale.
The price of the Saudi Riyal was stable at EGP4.76 and EGP 4.78 for sale. The UAE dirham also settled at EGP4.84 for buying and EGP 4.87 for sale, the same as the beginning of the week.
The Qatari riyal also stabilized against the pound at EGP 4.62 and EGP 4.91 for the same week.
