Passenger who jumped 11 stories from the cruise ship hopes he will not inspire others

A man banned by Royal Caribbean Cruises after jumping into the sea from his 11th-floor balcony hopes his actions will not inspire others.

Vancouver, NY, 27-year-old Nick Naydev posted a video on Instagram last week in which he made a small jump for a man and a huge leap of stupidity. He crashed 100 feet into shark contaminated waters.

Amazingly, he was not seriously injured, but said he could After three days "barely running", according to The Washington Post.

The main damage was financial: Naydev and his friends were thrown off the Bahamas cruise and he had to pay $ 200 for a plane ticket from Nassau home, the Post said.

The 10-second stunt prompted the shipping company to ban Naydev and his friends for life, according to Royal Caribbean to "Inside Edition":

"That was stupid and reckless behavior, and he and his companions must never sail with us again. We are investigating legal action. "

Naydev told Inside Edition that he did not really think about the risks before he made the leap into logic.

"Nothing really crossed my mind. I am like "I have to do that" and only two seconds later I jumped and did not really think it through, "he admitted.

It is not surprising that alcohol was involved.

"We were last night Drink Pretty much, so I still felt the effects of the alcohol, "he added.

Now, a week later, Naydev fears that his reckless leap could inspire imitators.

"I hope I do not inspire anyone because it's very dangerous," he said. "I mean, do not think that's a joke."

The man who took the jump from Naydev told Yahoo! that he is disappointed with how Royal Caribbean handled the incident, though he does not seem to understand the point.

"He has jumped from such heights before, and the consequences for the shipping company did not really interest us," he explained. "We just wanted to get a video of it and make it viral."
