Breaking for Twitch King and Fortnite Streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins now tougher times? At least on paid subscriptions, the two streamer Summit1G and Tfue were hot on his tail until the two finally overtook him.
The game streaming platform Twitch had at times a new record holder in terms of the number of paid subscriptions. The Twitch streamer Summit1G is currently receiving around 44,600 subscriptions, while the well-known and popular Tyler "Ninja" Blevins has just 43,400 subscriptions. At the time of writing this news, however, another streamer could meanwhile take the lead, ahead of Summit and Ninja. Fortnite Streamer Tfue is now with about 44,700 subscriptions before the two. The distance is so small and the fluctuations are strong.
Ninja's dwindling Twitch subscription numbers
Some may wonder: did not Ninja have more subscriptions? Exactly, at times Ninja even had subscriptions in the 200,000 subscription milestone. So at the moment this is a big difference. But how did the big break-in come about? Many subscriptions probably stemmed from subscribing to Ninja during a Fortnite marketing campaign and not continuing subscriptions thereafter. In addition, even a small break of two days during the E3 2018 caused dwindling numbers.

And how could Summit1G come up with its current subscription numbers? His game of choice is Sea of Thieves, which is actually very surprising. The weddings of the pirate MMO are already over on Twitch. While Ninja has to share the Fortnite terrain with other big streamers, Summit1G has the most Sea of Thieves viewers on its side. In January, it is currently with a total of about 9.1 million spectator hours far ahead of the second place with only 151,000 spectator hours. Fortnite Streamer Tfue is currently in front of Ninja's 9.8 million viewer hours, with about 10.4 million viewer hours. At the moment, nobody can take his top spot with 13 million followers.
