Mega Millions ticket worth nearly $ 313,000 sold in Southeast Fresno

FRESNO, California (KFSN) -

Someone in Fresno narrowly missed a Mega Millions jackpot on Tuesday night, but still gets a pretty good payout.

The lucky lottery player scored five out of six numbers and missed the mega-number, but won over $ 312,000.

The ticket was purchased at SF Supermarket in southeast Fresno at Kings Canyon near Winery.

"In Fresno, in this shop, you bought the ticket here, oh, that's good, that's a lot, God bless him," said station worker Ram Singh.

Buyers and workers were thrilled to learn that their neighborhood shop sold the winning ticket. It's not $ 68 million, but $ 300,000 is a long way.

Maybe the lucky frog has paid off.

"You've ever bought a ticket at this store? No, never, but I'm thinking about buying a ticket at this store today," said customer Deon Walker.

That's exactly what Deon Walker did, and so many others will find out that a lucky ticket has been sold here.

"It's the first time my store has had a big winner here, I'm so happy," shop manager Shuyi Zhang said.

The lottery players were glad someone had won in Fresno. They say it's nice to hear that locals occasionally win.

The lottery office says nobody has claimed the $ 312,730 jackpot yet.

The next draw takes place on Friday and is $ 68 million.
