Kenneth Faried agrees to Nets Buyout before joining Rockets

Brooklyn Nets striker / center Kenneth Faried has approved a contract buyout that clears the way for him to sign a deal with the Houston Rockets, sources in the league told ESPN.

The Rockets plan to instantly install Faried in the lineup to replace much of the defenses lost to the launch center Clint Capela, which is expected to be on the right thumb several weeks after surgery.

Faried is released on Saturday, the sources said. His salary of $ 13.7 million is expected to be canceled on Monday.

The Rockets are aggressively working to find a trade for the exiled Carmelo Anthony before leaving on Monday at 5pm. ET deadline to clear a site for Faried, sources from the league said. The rockets must exchange a player for a team with an open ranking or renounce a player before signing Faried.
