The Scottish Cup tie between Cowdenbeath and Rangers on Friday night was postponed due to a frozen pitch.


The game was postponed for Wednesday, January 30th.

Rangers' new boys, Jermain Defoe and Steven Davis, made their debut against the Scottish League Two team - but they must now wait for the Scottish Premiership trip to Kilmarnock next Wednesday.

Rangers announced on Twitter: "Due to the minus temperatures, the Scottish Cup in Cowdenbeath was postponed after a late pitch inspection.

"Despite the Cowdenbeath team's best efforts, the course was deemed unplayable."
