Client throws hot coffee to the face of a McDonald's employee in South Carolina

Camden, South Carolina - A McDonald's customer was angered by the wait for his order and bathed an employee in the face with hot coffee, South Carolina police said.

A news outlet reports that the Camden police released on Tuesday the surveillance video that shows the man and asked for help from the public to identify him. Police say that the individual arrived at the restaurant last month via the auto service and ordered an order of fries because he was unhappy with the waiting time.

The police report says that the man then asked to speak with the supervisor of the employee and began to act in a "repulsive" way. Then he threatened to throw the coffee and called the employee to the window and threw the coffee.

The employee, a teenager who has not been identified by the authorities, refused medical treatment.
