Recall that in Russia, the Japanese automaker works in a joint venture with Sollers. The joint venture produces Isuzu N-series chassis with carrying capacity from 1.5 to 6.6 tons. The production of cars is adjusted at the site of the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant.

Interestingly, Sollers plans to supply self-developed hybrid power plants to the Japanese - Vadim Shvetsov, General Director of PJSC SOLLERS, told the Panorama UAZ newspaper.

We agreed that this decision will be applied at our joint venture in Russia, and instead of a Isuzu diesel engine we will install our hybrid installation, which will consist of the internal combustion engine of the Volga Motor Plant and the electric motor
