20,000 Czechs became infected with coronavirus. Most in three regions

– In the Czech Republic, over 20,000 people became infected with the new coronavirus 169 days after the onset of the epidemic. There were 121 confirmed cases of covid-19 on Sunday. There are currently a record 5,816 patients. So far, 397 people have died with coronavirus in the Czech Republic.

– Most people have contracted covid-19 since the beginning of the epidemic in the Moravian-Silesian Region. The 5,100 cases there represent approximately a quarter of all those infected so far in the Czech Republic. This is followed by Prague with 4,367 cases, ie more than a fifth of the national number. The third is the Central Bohemian Region with 2277 infected.

– In Peru, 10,143 cases of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infection have been confirmed in the last 24 hours, the highest since the onset of the pandemic. In total, this South American country has already recorded 535,946 infected and is the sixth in the world comparison of the American Johns Hopkins University, when it overtook much larger Mexico.
