Meghan’s husband Harry (35) probably started the new job at the “Lion King” premiere in London in July 2019. Video recordings from the red carpet show how the prince talks to Disney boss Bob Iger (68).
Harry: “Did you know that Meghan does voice overs?”
Bob Iger: “Ah, no, I didn’t know that.”
Harry: «You seem surprised! Yes, she is very interested in it. »
Then it becomes incomprehensible for a few seconds until the Disney boss says: «Sure. We would like to try that out. »
Up to 100 million a year
Details of the contract and for which speaking role Meghan was possibly obliged are not yet known. One thing is certain: For Disney, there could hardly be a better promo for a film than advertising with Meghan. Before her engagement to Prince Harry, Meghan appeared in a leading role in the “Suits” series of lawyers.
In addition to the Disney deal, Harry and Meghan are currently expected to launch further collaborations that suit them British experts could bring in an income of around CHF 100 million a year. And consequently a billion in ten years.
Movies, books, speeches
Because there are numerous opportunities for the Sussexes to earn their own money. Harry also has film projects in the pipeline: With Oprah Winfrey he produced a series about mental health for Apple TV. Many other projects could follow in this area.
In addition, Harry and Meghan are allowed to enter into promotional deals as no longer royals. Almost every brand in the world would like to see them as ambassadors for their products. Here the Sussexes can choose what makes sense – and is lucrative. Harry and Meghan can also earn money with public lectures and book contracts.
