About «The boat»:

In December 1942, the very experienced submarine commander Johannes von Reinhartz (Clemens Schick) received the order to drop three saboteurs on the US east coast with the U-822. When his loyalty is questioned, U-612 becomes his under the command of Corvette Captain Wrangel (Stefan Konarske)

The whole world can do that via livestream to watch from home. And stream the first episode of the submarine drama – free of charge and three days before the planned start of the season.

First talk, then episode 1

According to the Sky announcement, it starts at 8 p.m. with a talk with the main actors Vicky Krieps, Tom Wlaschiha, Rick Okon, Clemens Schick and Franz Dinda. The stream with the first episode then runs at 8.30 p.m.

Eric Grignon, CEO of Sky Switzerland, said of the extraordinary advertising campaign: “If we can’t celebrate a big world premiere in times of the corona virus, we are inviting the whole of Switzerland to roll out the red carpet at home.”
