20 children and 20 grandchildren, the family of Salvadoran singer Alfredo José continues to grow | News from El Salvador

The founder of Grupo La Colección Internacional is happy with the extension of his family, which is closely linked to music.

It is indisputable that one of the most popular and controversial characters in the Salvadoran music industry is Alfredo José, not only because he has no qualms when it comes to talking about his life, but because of the number of children he has: 20.

As he has already said in several interviews, his offspring make him happy, but at the same time he accepts that the road he has traveled has been difficult and that he does not advise anyone to repeat his steps.

“The first thing I always advise parents is not to have many children. The second thing, love them, love them, because depending on how you behave with them since they are little, that response will be when you get older, ”said the 62-year-old artist.

It should be clarified that 18 of his children are “of blood” and two are “foster”. He loves all of them equally, no matter what decisions they make.

“I grew up with my mom and dad, but he was happy in life (…) we had a pretty poor situation in Berlin, I am very proud of it because it is part of my history (…) when I was an artist I started falling in love … I was easy, ”he joked.
